The first Feast of 2009 was a Nueske's Applewood Smoked Bone-in Ham. Oh Yeah! It is going to be a good meat year.

Glad to see you got your pork in for the New Year. But what about the leafy green stuff?
You are very observant. We have not had anything Green in the last several days. The Malfatti is made with Spinach though.
I am planning to hit up a market or two for some leafy green stuff and fixin's for split pea soup.
Happy New Year to you Kailyn
I keep forgetting to go order bacon from Nueske's! This ham is my reminder! Looks great and Happy New Year!
I had lasagna leftovers with some toast. Then went to bed about 9pm, yay.
Biggles
Question: Do you get free UPS shipping? That'd be cool.
Cookiecrumb, Nueske's has free shipping offers several times a year. I will give you a holler.
Reverend, Did that Lasagna have Gravy?
Zoomie, Baron's Meats on Park St. in Alameda has Nueske bacon.
I put a couple pounds of Nueske's ham in our Black Eyed Peas and Collard Greens.
Hot Diggidy....
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Darn fine looking ham there. If it tasted half as good as it looked, it musta been wunnerful...
