NATIONAL ARTICHOKE HEART DAY
Today is National Artichoke Heart Day. Steamed, boiled, fried, barbequed, and even raw they are delicious. Let's allt have an artichoke heart to celebrate the day!!
Cookiecrumb,I have my corned beef in a plain water bath to purge the salt. Will smoke in the morning. Ms. Goofy, Oscar, Lucy and I will be dancing a jig for the Holiday.
highlandsranchfoodie, We usualy have asparagus with our corned beef. Acturally I have asparagus with everything. Tradition is boiled cabbage. Not all that fond of that. Have an artichoke with your corned beef sandwich next week. Take care.
