Life is just a bowl of cherries. In our case this bowl will be turned into a cherry pie. These sweet/tart cherries were found at the Richmond Farmers Market. We like the Dutch topping on our pie. Oh yeah!

Lotta cherries in that pie! Fabulous. Remember when homemade cherry pie meant a can of gloopy "cherry filling"?

cookiecrumb, Yes, I used to like gloopy, but home made with Dutch topping. Oh my.
P.S. You know it is home made when you think you get all the pits and one or two show up.

Lea Ann, I love pie. I think crust is easy. Than you just use fresh fillings with a touch of sugar. I actually made a pecan pie in high school for a class. I love pie.
