What will they think of next? Even dogs want in on the bacon craze. I prefer to call it a lifestyle choice. Lucy our highly pampered and slightly spoiled 'English Cream Golden Retriever Lap' dog now owns a bacon flavored dog chew. Does she like it? "The proof of the pudding is in the eating!"
My how she has grown! Not a puppy any more. Glad to see she is enjoying her bacon - we crisped the Nueske's yesterday and Cora got a taste.

Bacon flavor. Yeah, that's the sekrit.
At PetSmart, we pick up real beef bones with different flavored fillings. They make a maple bacon. I like our dog's breath for days after...

Three Dogs BBQ, I might be tempted to try those bones myself. Dog breath is usually not pleasant. Lucy once got into the fertilizer bag and you could imagine.
So, instead of a bacon-flavored nylon bone, Cranky comes home from the pet store with a nylon frisbee. Bartlett is learning how to play with it. She caught it once, on about the fifth fling. This could be fun.
