I love whole wheat bread. The flavor, texture and even the health benefits float my boat. This bread even uses oatmeal.as an ingredient. There is honey to add a little sweetness to this nutty hearty loaf. Ms. Goofy calls my whole wheat breads: 'Sticks & Stones' bread. It is not her favorite. That is fine, because there will be more for me.
That looks delicious! I think I'll return for the recipe next time I make bread. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteZoomie, I have always liked whole wheat bread. One of my favorites to make has wheat germ, and cracked wheat berries. It too is sweetened with honey. There is a great shop in San Rafael that specializes in whole wheat breads;Ponsfords Place. Ms. Goofy does not like to go.
ReplyDeleteI guess you have to move that meat along somehow...;)
ReplyDeleteI know Craig Ponsford. I think he kissed me once. I will tell you the story for a kiss. (I collect them.)
ReplyDeleteOK, here's the story for free.

cookiecrumb, That is nice. You did not mention the kiss in your article. I love the idea of competitive bread backing. It will be awhile before the Olympic Committee approves this sport. Competitive hot dog eating will be first. Go Joey!
ReplyDeleteThree Dogs BBQ, Bread is a good excuse to eat with your fingers. I love a sandwich with fresh baked bread.
