With all that talk of beef ribs it was time to visit one of our go-to bbq restaurant in the City. (San Francisco). We are no strangers to Memphis Minnie's but is has been several years since our last visit. Memphis Minnies's has consistently produced very tasty and meaty beef ribs. Bob Kantor the original owner passed away last year. We had the opportunity to meet him several times. Bob was very passionate about bbq and it showed in his very special bbq. We found a parking spot right across the street which as you know in the City is unheard of. Parking karma, or a good sign of the great bbq to come?

Ribs or corned beef? Like picking your favorite child.
Greg, The politically correct answer would be; I love them both equally. I am leaning towards the ribs.
Both meals look very good and I know I would enjoy both.
Chilebrown, you know how I feel about beef ribs (better than pork!). Now, let's talk about that pie. Was it as good as it looks? Oh, the Mac and cheese looks good too!
Thanks for the great review and glad that we are still producing great BBQ in your eyes. Just one small correction, Wednesday is Pastrami day and not corned beef day.
Big Dude, I can vouch for that, enjoying both.
Three Dog BBQ, The simple answer is YES
Tom, I stand corrected on Pastrami day with Pastrami bliss. Memphis Minnie's is still our go to bbq restaurant in the Bay Area. Have I ever mentioned; I love beef ribs.
Beef? Eh. My people are about pork. Beef ribs make me think of the Renaissance Faire.
Dagny, I think I have never met a beef or pork rib I have not liked. Beef is my favorite but to find meaty and good tasting beef ribs is a challenge. MM is pretty darn consistent. I know you would like it. When I think of the Renaissance Faire I think of giant turkey legs.
