It was time for a D.O.G. (Dutch Oven Gathering). Our small group had a great day of cooking, eating and having a good time. We had a huge communal dutch oven (African) which we made our version of 'Stone Soup". Everybody contributed an addition to this pot. I will let picture do the rest of the talking. Good times.

CB do you have any recommendations for a remote thermometer for a smoker? My old Ivation product is slowly dying. I only need ambient temperature.
Zio, I believe the Thermoworks company is the gold standard for all your thermometer needs. They have remote. I have so many but I use the most simple the Dot.
Thank you. The Ivation product was also one of your reviews that Zia read. The Niece got one for me some 15 years ago. It's really been a solid product.
Dear Zio, Is it possible Zia read another Meat Genius review? I do not recollect ever having a Ivation product. It is possible that I just do not remember because I have gone through a lot. One of my favorites was a talking thermometer. I programed it to speak in French. I did not know what the heck she said but it was fun. Thermoworks has been my new go to for instruments. I own quit a few of their products and love them all.
